What is Elite Combat Fitness?

For the extreme individuals, we do training drills in the woods.  Most importantly, no complex equipment is needed and the exercises are both challenging and fun.

What are Kettlebells?
Kettlebells are the ultimate all-in-one fitness and strength/conditioning tool.  Kettlebells promote strength, cardio, flexibility, and mobility all at the same time with a special emphasis on CORE STRENGTH.  Kettlebell training also improves This type of training is perfect for those looking for ‘the most out of the least’ thus maximizing workouts.  Anyone can gain noticeable benefits in 30-minute workouts a couple of times per week.
Are kettlebells the ultimate way to train?
That depends on your goals.  If you want to be a champion powerlifter (bench press, squat and deadlift) then you must perform those exercises with a barbell just like your competition.  Barbells, dumbbells, etc. all have advantages and disadvantages.  Kettlebells are a great addition to your training due to their diversity.  You can use a kettlebell to get strong, big, tone, cardio conditioning, flexible, coordinated for sports, etc.

Who uses kettlebells?
Kettlebells are used by a variety of people including stay-at-home moms, business professionals, athletes, martial artists, law enforcement, firemen, military, and other people who are looking for a more efficient and functional workout.
Can I build strength without size with kettlebells?
Yes.  Kettlebells address strength gain through the central nervous system than traditional weight training.  You will feel more ‘connected’ after a few weeks of kettlebell training.  You can build size with kettlebells but it takes a lot more time and effort and diligent dedication to do so.
How can I get training on kettlebells?
You need to seek training from a ‘qualified’ instructor.    "Kettlebell training is very similar to martial arts.  It’s a skill set that takes practice and no one should ever try to use kettlebells on their own – you run the risk of injury."  (Gilbert)    It’s not that the exercises are difficult, but they require a lot of attention.
